Isaiah 53:6 (KJV) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Romans 3:23 (CEV) All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory.

Romans 5:12 (CEV) Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die.

(This is an action word. It is not passive!)

Romans 3:24 (CEV) But God treats us much better than we deserve, and because of Christ Jesus, he freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 14:1 (LITV) Do not let your heart be troubled; you believe in God, Believe also in Me. (Jesus)

John 8:24(KJV) (Jesus speaking said;) …for if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins.

John 1:12 (KJV) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that Believe on His name

Mark 1:14b-15(AMP)…Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom of God, And saying, The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled (completed), and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent (have a change of mind which issues in regret for past sins and in change of conduct for the better) and Believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to) the good news (the Gospel).

Acts 16:30b-31 (AMP) “Men, what is it necessary for me to do that I may be saved?” And they answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ [give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping] and you will be saved, [and this applies both to] you and your household as well.”

Come to God and Confess
(Repent - Change your mind-and be converted)

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in nowisecastout. (Jesus)

John 14:6 (AMP) Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

Romans 10:9 (AMP) Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:10 (AMP) For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.

Acts 3:19 (AMP) So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], [King James says “be converted”]; that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord;

Philippians 2:10-11 (KJV) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

1John 1:9 (AMP) If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanseus from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

Acts 4:12 (CEV) Only Jesus has the power to save! His name is the only one in all the world that can save anyone.

Pray this prayer to ask Jesus to come into your heart”
Dear Father God, I come to you in Jesus Name. I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I believe that Jesus is Lord, and I now ask Him to come into my heart and be Lord of all my life. I accept your gift of Eternal Life and I confess now that Jesus is My Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me, making me your child and giving me a home in Heaven with you. I receive my new life in you right now and I praise and thank you for it! In Jesus Name. Amen.

Develop a relationship with God.
We do this by talking with Him (praying) and reading His Word.

Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Matthew 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

1Thessalonians 5:17 (ISV) Continually be prayerful.

2Timothy 3:16-17 (AMP) Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Acts 17:11 (ASV)The people of Berea were more open-minded than the people of Thessalonica. They were very willing to receive

God's message, and every day they carefully examined the Scriptures to see if what Paul said was true.

Exalt God in all you do.

Psalms 99:5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

Psalms 118:28(AMP) You are my God, and I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You; You are my God, I will extol You.

1Timothy4:12 (GNB) Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for the believers in your speech, your conduct, your love, faith, and purity.

Hebrews 12:28 (CEV) We should be grateful that we were given a kingdom that cannot be shaken. And in this kingdom we please God by worshiping him and by showing him great honor and respect.


Romans 1:17 (AMP)For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith. [Habakkuk 2:4]

Galatians 5:6 (KJV)For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but Faith which workethbylove.

Hebrews 11:6 (Amp) But without Faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believethatHeis, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Romans 10:17 (CEV) So then, Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message comes through preaching Christ. (KJV So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.)

Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.


John 1:16 (AMP) For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.

Romans 5:2 (AMP) Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God's favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.

1Corinthians 1:4 (AMP) I thank my God at all times for you because of the grace (the favor and spiritual blessing) of God which was bestowed on you in Christ Jesus,

Ephesians 1:6-7 (KJV) To the praise of the glory of His Grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace;

Ephesians 2:8-10 (AMP) For it is by free Grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself] For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Ephesians 4:7 ( KJV) But unto every one of us is given Grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Acts 20:32 (AMP) And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His Grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God's set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul).

Hebrews 4:16 (ISV)So let us keep on coming with boldness to the throne of Grace, so that we may obtain mercy and find Grace to help us in our time of need.


Psalms 103:1-5 (AMP) Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits-- Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]! Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Psalms 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Isaiah 53:5 (AMP) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew 14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick.

Matthew 15:30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and He Healed them.

Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Acts 10:38 (MSG) Then Jesus arrived from Nazareth, anointed by God with the Holy Spirit, ready for action. He went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the Devil. He was able to do all this because God was with him.

1Peter 2:24 (WNT) The burden of our sins He Himself carried in His own body to the Cross and bore it there, so that we, having died so far as our sins are concerned, may live righteous lives. By His wounds yours have been healed.
